I ♥ Snow

Hello! For my card today I used one of my all time favorites called Snowman Winter Greeting Card Set. I paper pieced the snowman with papers from the February Peachy Picks Kit. I love that kit so much! It's just full of awesome goodies...like that neat canvas flag and twine.
I stamped the I ♥ snow from the Snowman Winter Greeting Card set onto the canvas flag from the February Peachy Picks Kit. I added some rock candy distress stickles to the snowman and tree for shine.

I hope you're having a peachy day!

Hello! You should have arrived from Nancy's Blog. If not, head back HERE to the beginning. Ok...on we go. Here is a mini tutorial using the fabulous new dies called Lower Case Fun Dies
I cut a 4.25x 5.5 inch panel of Post-It Craft Paper {sticky all over like a Post-It note}. I ran it through my vagabond machine with the new Lower Case Fun Dies set. I popped out all of the letters because I wanted to use the "negative" images. I used the popped out "positive" letters on THIS card...I adhered the panel to white cardstock and inked it up with peacock feathers distress ink. I zapped it with my heat tool and then sprayed on a mix of perfect pearls and water in a mini mister. Zapped it again to dry it. Then I peeled off the letters mask I made. Here's the result...
Bam! Custom inked lettered background! {guess I got snap happy and took the pic before peeling up the centers on some of the letters}. Sparkly letters to boot! FUN! :) And here is my finished card...
I had it in my mind all along that I wanted to highlight the "hi" and make that my sentiment. I created the window with the XL Label die. I inked it with brushed pewter distress stain. It is really so much cooler looking in real life! I stamped the stitched circle from the Vintage Label Stamps around the "hi".
For a final touch I added glossy accents to the "hi" to really make it pop. Again, this is much cooler in real life...I swear! LOL

Ok...I made another card. It's pretty weird, but I think it's funny. I saw an ornament with the saying on Pinterest and I just had to make a card. Sorry the pictures are awful, it's dreary here.

Get it? Like dashing only stashing? HAHAHAHA Ok, well it cracked me up! I know that the spelling is horrendous, but it's funny! Anyhoo...the mustache is from the What's Growing On set. The "stashing" was made with the Label Font Stamp Set. I used the Lower Case Fun Dies to cut the letters from THIS fabulous glitter cardstock from PeachyKeenStamps
I added lots of glossy accents to the mustache. :)

Ok...hope you enjoyed...now on with the hop you go

next stop is the fabulous ROSY

and here's the hop list in case you get lost

Stocking Card

Hiya! I have a super simple card today. I apologize for the dark pictures. It's dreary out here. Anyhoo, I paper pieced this super cute stocking from the Miss Shayla At Christmas Time set. This set is illustrated by an Australian artist named Selina Shelton...and manufactured right here in the USA by PeachyKeenStamps. Gotta love knowing that the quality is totally on point! :) Ahhhh I ♥ my peachies! I used patterned papers from the current Peachy Picks Kit.
I popped up the cuff of the stocking and added sparkle with a sakura stardust pen. I decided not to add a sentiment to the front, I'll add it on the inside. :)

Have a great day!

MCT Nov Stamp release Sneak peeks day 3

Hello and welcome to day 3 of sneaks for MyCreativeTime. You are just going to love this release! It's my favorite release from Emma ever, and I've been on the DT since day one. :) Ok, on to my card... I started by cutting letters with the new Lower Case Fun Dies with Post It Craft paper. It's sticky like a Post It note. I then arranged them and stuck them to a tag from the Tag Dies set from MyCreativeTime. I then inked over it like crazy with peacock feathers distress ink and my inking tool.
After it's all inked up I sprayed it with a mixture of perfect pearls and water in a mini mister. I zapped it with my heat gun to dry it. And then peeled up the letters to reveal the white underneath. And here's my finished card....
I stamped my background with the dotted circle and regular circle from the new Vintage Label Stamps set from MyCreativeTime. I stamped the label shape from the Vintage Label Stamps onto white cardstock and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I inked it up with peacock feathers distress ink. I cut it out and mounted it on to the Vintage Label Die
I stamped the "miss" from the Vintage Label Sentiments onto the Stitched Circle Die and white heat embossed it. It's actually the word "missing" but I masked off the rest. I used the U from the new die called Lower Case Fun set. I added glossy accents over top to finish it off.

Make sure to pop over to Emma's Blog to see more sneaks! But first...

Welcome Sweet Baby

Hello! Here is the card I made for my friend who just welcomed a baby girl into her family. Congrats Erica and fam! Erica is a blogger and she is awesome. Check out her blog HERE. On to the card deets. You may be thinking...a skull on a baby card??? LOL I know that it's super non-traditional, but I dig it! The skull is from the Rock Princess cartridge. I coated it with 2 layers of rock candy distress stickles. I inked the bow with spun sugar distress ink and finished it off with glossy accents.
Lots of fun shine and sparkle. :) I stamped the Sweet Lace Background from MarketStreetStamps and inked it with spun sugar distress ink. For the sentiment I first stamped the "welcome sweet baby" from the All Star Baby set from MyCreativeTime. Then I used the Stepping Stone Alphabet set from Hero Arts to spell out the baby's name. And isn't that just the sweetest name?! OH and the skull is on a wobble so it wiggles. :)

I hope you're having a great day! Be sure to pop over to MyCreativeTime and see some sneaks from the new release. You are going to love em'! I'm sure having a blast playing! :)

p.s. I've been singing ♫ my my myyy Delilah ♫ since I made this. Gotta ♥ Tom Jones! ;)

Peachy Keen Challenge 43

Hello! It's challenge time again at PeachyKeen and this week, anything goes! Yep, make anything your little heart desires. :) I stamped the adorable deer from the November 2012 set on kraft paper and on white. I paper pieced the white bit on the chest and colored in the bow with a spica glitter marker. I used a snowflake embossing folder for the sky and spritzed it with perfect pearls and water. I used rock candy stickles for the snow the deer is standing on. I white heat embossed the label shape and sentiment that are also from the November 2012 set from PeachyKeenStamps
I added a double twine bow and attached it with a snowflake brad from the Peachy Picks Kit. The white papers and the red patterned paper are also from the Peachy Picks Kit

Ok...now pop over to the Challenge Blog and play along!
