To a crazy chickie

Hello! Today we are showcasing the Die Of The Month again at MyCreativeTime. I used a die cut from the Fun Speech Bubbles set to stamp my greeting on. I used the new To A Cute Little Chickie set for the "to a chickie" part of my greeting. I made the word "crazy" with the Alpha Pack set. I used my Cricut Explore to cut out THIS chick. I used the Chickie Face Assortment from PeachyKeenStamps for the face. OH, and I used the Bunch Of Fun Circles Dies for the card, and the Stitched Grass Die

MCT Made in Minutes

Hello! It's Made In Minutes Monday at MyCreativeTime. For my super quick and simple card I used the Uppercase Fun Dies for my shaker. The "for being so sweet" is from the So Grateful For You set. I filled the shaker with shades of purple sequins, and mounted the panel on a purple card base.

MCT 40th Edition Release Blog Hop!

Hello! You should have arrived from Lucia's blog, if not, head HERE to start at the beginning. For my cards today I have used the adorable new You Had Me At Meow set. KITTIES! Yay!!! :) Did you know I love kitties???? Well, I do! Anyhoo...for this first card I used the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More Dies for the card base and shaker layer.
I used the Stitched Sweethearts and XOXO dies for the shaker window. I paper pieced the kitty from the You Had Me At Meow set. I also gave her a collar from the set. I used the coordinating dies that come with the set to cut her out. The greeting that I love so much is also from the same set.
For this card I used the Uppercase Fun Dies to partially die cut MEW. I used the kitty die from the You Had Me At Meow to replace the O, although "mew" is also a kitty noise. ;) I colored the kitty to look like my guy Simba using my Prismacolor colored pencils.
I used the You Had Me At Meow for the birthday greeting as well. LOVE LOVE LOVE this new set. Oh, and I gave kitty the other collar option in the stamp set. A fishy collar. Cute! :)

Sequin Seahorse

Hello! I am in absolute LOVE with the brand new Cricut Design Space App for iPad! It's awesome and FREE! Yay! It is beyond simple to use as well. For my first card made using the Cricut Design Space App, I bought this pretty seahorse image from the Anna Griffin Summer Soirees cartridge. OH and buying that image from my iPad was incredibly simple! Anyhoo, I attached the seahorse image to a rectangle so I could use the negative space. And they my favorite part, gluing the sequins.
As usual, I used glossy accents to glue down the sequins. Eek! I love this pretty seahorse. And I seriously super love the new Cricut Design Space App! So fire up your iPad and head to the App Store. :)

I'm really excited to watch the launch of the new Cricut Explore Air machine on HSN tonight at Midnight Eastern. {9 Pacific time} A lot of folks are having a cow about Cricut releasing another new machine...but there's no need to birth bovines! ;) The improvement on the Cricut Explore Air is built in wireless capabilities. So, if you've already got the original Cricut Explore machine, you just need to snag yourself a blue tooth adapter. Easy peasy.

p.s. Also. the new App sorta reminds me of having a Gypsy. Except it's about a bajillion times awesomererer. :)

I used the adorable Critters Down Under set for my Koala and trees. I stamped him and then colored with my Prismacolor colored pencils.
I gave him a hat from the Monster Mash set, and used the Into The Woods set for the clouds on the background scene. I used the Claire's ABC's set to make the greeting that is continued on the inside of the card....
Get it? Koalas eat eucalyptus. YOUcalyptus. I crack me up. :)

The greeting and hearts are also from the To A Cute Chickie set. And here's my other card for today.

You are absolutely unforgettable...

Hello! For this card I used the adorable Unforgettable stamp set by WPlus9. I stamped the elephant and the balloon, and then I made masks for them. I stamped over them with the Cartoon Cloud Background by MyCreativeTime with Soft Pool Hero Arts shadow ink. I colored my elephant and balloon with Prismacolor colored pencils.
The greeting is also from the Unforgettable set by WPlus9. To finish this card off I added wink of stella clear glitter marker and glossy accents to the balloon.

I hope you've had a great weekend! Happy awesome tv night! I'll be dvring lots of my fave shows so I can watch the SNL 40th anniversary special. I'm super stoked about it. I love SNL. LOVE. :)

This is gonna sting a little!

Hiya! Today I made a shaker with the adorable Cupid's Sting set from PeachyKeenStamps. I love him! I colored him with my Prismacolor colored pencils. I made the shaker with the Stitched Rectangular Frames And More dies from MyCreativeTime
I white heat embossed the greeting from the Cupid's Sting set on the vellum shaker window. I put Cupid on a wobble, so he wiggles. :)

This sweet little Cupid is one of my all time favorite Peachy stamps. So cute! If you want him, better get him quick! Remember that PeachyKeenStamps is no longer manufacturing stamps, so when they're gone...they're gone.

Happy almost Friday! :)

Hoppy Valentine's Day

Hello! It's Inspiration Wednesday at MyCreativeTime. My inspiration for this card is my Mommy. :) I made her this Valentine because she loves frogs. Well, she likes FAKE frogs. The real deal will cause her to emit a sound that only dogs can hear. :) Anyhoo...I used my Cricut Explore to cut this frog from the New Arrival cartridge. That's an OLD one! I made the shaker with the fabulous Stitched Rectangular Frames And More dies.
I used the Alpha Pack to make the word "hoppy", and the Puffy Hearts Just For You set for the "Valentine's Day". I used THIS stencil for my hearts.

Not to get carried away...

Hello! I got my first stamps and inks from Wplus9, and I'm in absolute love! For this card I used the Unforgettable stamp set from Wplus9. I am obsessed with these elephants! Just too sweet. Anyhoo...I did some masking to make the elephant on the ground look like he's trying to keep the other elephant from floating away. I also masked the balloons to add more. I colored the elephants and balloons with my Prismacolor colored pencils.
I used shabby shutters distress ink and water for the ground, and a blending tool and tumbled glass distress ink for the soft sky. The greeting is also from the fabulous Unforgettable stamp set from Wplus9. To finish this off, I added some wink of stella to the balloons.

I hope your week is off to a fabulous start. :)

Eye think you're neat

Hello! I'm playing along with the current Lawnscaping Challenge. The theme is Clean And Simple this time. I decided to break in my Monster Mash set for a Valentine's day card...
I made the background with distress inks and water. I stamped the cutie monster's from the Monster Mash set by Lawn Fawn and colored them with my Prismacolor colored pencils.
The greeting is also from the Monster Mash set by Lawn Fawn. I finished it off with some sequins. Oh, I should mention that this is a little card. Just 3.5 x 3.5 inches. I like little Valentine's. :)
